About Us
Stiftelsen Hjelp til Selvhjelp (SHS) is the business branch of HimalPartners business effort in Himalaya.
SHS is bridging the gap between the need and the resources, and acts as a catalyzer for development, with the aim to improve the living conditions of the poor people. We have more than 60 years’ experience within vocational training, hydropower and mechanical industry in Nepal. Bridging Norway and Himalaya with exchange of expertize, technology, investors and strategical partnership.
SHS is organized by having ownership in three implementing impact daughter companies: companies, IKNI, IKNN and SESI-International. SHS and its daughter companies are investors, developer and initiates new projects.
Our long term goal is to contribute to build sustainable business, and in the future pull out in order to hand it over to national owners. The profits will be reinvested for the same purposes in Himalaya.
